Former Super Eagles captain, John Mikel Obi, has put to rest the rumors surrounding his alleged long-standing beef with legendary singer, 2face Idibia, popularly known as 2baba.
Reports had surfaced claiming that Mikel Obi ignored 2baba at a London nightclub in 2006, and the singer later released a song, ‘Only Me,’ which some fans assumed was about the rumored beef.
However, Mikel Obi has now refuted these claims, stating that the incident never happened. The former Chelsea midfielder made it clear that he is a big fan of 2baba and would never show disrespect towards him.
Addressing the issue on Instagram, Mikel responded to a user’s comment, denying the snub and reaffirming his admiration for the renowned musician.
