Popular media personality, Laura Abebe, widely known as Moet Abebe, recently shared insights into her single status during a podcast hosted by her and reality TV star Tolani Baj. The 34-year-old presenter, who has been in the public eye for various reasons, explained her decision to remain single, citing her reservations about men’s behavior.
Moet Abebe had previously opened up about her experience in an “abusive” relationship in June 2023, lasting approximately two and a half years. In October of the same year, she expressed her reluctance to date men who live on the mainland in Lagos, emphasizing the inconvenience of late-night plans.
During the podcast, when asked about her single status, Moet Abebe responded, “Your gender needs to do more. My issue with men is that they do not have sense. How about men stop dipping their fingers in so many pots?” She further elaborated that her decision to be single stems from the lack of appealing options and the need for men to demonstrate better behavior.
This candid revelation follows Moet’s previous comments on marriage being a “fraud” and her unconventional views on relationships. Her straightforward stance continues to make her a prominent figure in discussions around love, relationships, and societal expectations.
