Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has accused INEC of helping those trying to remove her from office. Speaking at a rally in Kogi Central, she claimed the electoral body was guiding petitioners on how to submit their recall petition properly.
She alleged that members of the APC were behind the move and questioned the fairness of the process. Despite the controversy, she remained confident that her supporters would stand by her.

Her return to Kogi Central led to security concerns, with the state government banning public gatherings and imposing a curfew in Okehi LGA.
