According to a report from Instagram blog Gossipmill, a Nigerian man named Tembu Ebere has allegedly experienced partial blindness as a result of his attempt to set a record for the longest continuous crying session.
In an interview with BBC, Ebere shared details about his health issues. He explained that while attempting to cry continuously for seven days, he reached a point where he temporarily lost his vision and couldn’t see anything for a period of time.
Ebere also mentioned experiencing other side effects such as headaches, puffy eyes, and body pains, which occurred after 45 minutes of blindness.
Realizing the toll it was taking on his well-being, Ebere had to adjust his strategy and reduce the intensity of his crying to avoid further headaches and complications.
