NLC Members Disrupt Banking Activities in Lagos

Members of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) reportedly disrupted operations at a Polaris Bank branch in Lagos on Monday. Customers were denied access as NLC members enforced a strike action over minimum wage and living costs. Reports indicate staff and customers were chased out of the bank by NLC members.

Nationwide Strike Halts National Assembly Activities

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC) strike halted activities at the National Assembly. Both unions blocked entrances, including an annex gate, denying entry to workers. Journalists were directed to union presidents for inquiries as union officials declined interviews.
