NNPCL: No Plans for Petrol Price Hike

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) has officially denied any plans to increase pump prices for Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), also known as petrol. In a statement released on Friday, NNPC Limited stated that it has no intentions to raise PMS pump prices, addressing the widespread speculation to the contrary.

The NNPC emphasized its commitment to providing customers with high-quality products at affordable prices across its retail stations nationwide. This statement comes amid concerns and speculations regarding potential fuel price increases following the removal of fuel subsidies.

It’s worth noting that the NNPC has adjusted fuel prices in the past after the removal of subsidies. However, this statement serves as an official response to address the recent concerns and reaffirm its commitment to providing affordable fuel to consumers.
