Popular gospel singer Mike Abdul has expressed his belief that collaborating with secular artists is not a problem. In an interview with Sunday Scoop, he mentioned that he has never had issues collaborating with anyone, whether they are secular artists or not. According to him, the decision to collaborate depends on the purpose and agreement for the collaboration.
Mike Abdul also talked about his latest song, “Most High,” which he explained was inspired by his reflection on who God is and the praise that should be given to Him. He emphasized the importance of praising God for His nature and being, regardless of whether He performs specific actions in one’s life.
The singer, who initially gained recognition in gospel fuji music, noted that he shouldn’t be limited to a specific genre. While he has been associated with gospel fuji, he mentioned that he has created songs in various genres.
Regarding the possibility of a reunion with his former group, Midnight Crew, Mike Abdul mentioned that he is open to the idea but would also need to hear from the other members. He expressed his fondness for his former group members and mentioned that the logistics might be challenging since some members are based in the United Kingdom while others are in Nigeria.
