Notorious Armed Robbers Arrested in Anambra, Kaduna

The infamous robbery suspects who have been terrorizing the Kaduna metropolis‘ Barnawa, Sabon Tasha, and Karji districts have been apprehended by the Kaduna State Police Command.

This was revealed in a statement released yesterday by ASP Mansir Hassan, the Command’s public relations officer.
Around three in the morning on May 9, 2024, according to ASP Hassan, the arrests were made.

He claimed that along the Yakowa Expressway, three suspects—Khalid Lawal, Abdulhamid Zubairu, and Musa Yusuf—were apprehended by a surveillance patrol unit from the Unguwan Rimi division in Kaduna.
He claimed that further inquiries showed the suspects, who were carrying weapons, knives, and machetes, had planned with other criminals who had subsequently been located and apprehended.

In the same vein, a well-known alleged cultist and armed robber has been taken into custody by the Anambra State Police Command in Uruagu village, Oba, Idemili South Local Government Area.

The suspect, Anichede Akachukwu, 18, also known as Star B, admitted to being the head of the Vikings Secret Cult Confraternity and an armed gang that has been terrorizing Ogbaru LGA and Asaba in Delta State, according to a statement released by the command’s spokesman, SP Tochukwu Ikenga.

He claimed that while undergoing treatment for a bullet wound he had received during an altercation with police agents in Asaba, intelligence on Akachukwu was obtained, and he was eventually captured.
