The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State has commended the judgment of the Supreme Court, which affirmed Dapo Abiodun as the duly elected governor of the state. The party expressed satisfaction with the verdict, stating that it served the cause of justice and marked the end of Ladi Adebutu’s recurring governorship aspirations.
In a statement issued in Abuja by the Publicity Secretary of APC in Ogun State, Tunde Oladunjoye, the party Chairman, Chief Yemi Sanusi, congratulated Dapo Abiodun and his deputy, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, for the landmark judgment by the apex court.
The statement acknowledged the Supreme Court justices for upholding the decisions of the lower courts, emphasizing the role of the judiciary in delivering true justice.
The APC urged Governor Abiodun and his team to intensify their efforts in governance, expressing confidence in the transformational agenda for Ogun State.The statement also called on the opposition, particularly the losers, to move beyond bitterness and contribute constructively to the state’s progress. The APC conveyed appreciation to the people of Ogun State for their steadfastness and support for the APC-led administration despite distractions from the opposition.
