Veteran Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has expressed gratitude to God after surviving a life-threatening health scare. The actress revealed on Instagram that she underwent emergency surgery following severe back and chest pain, constant vomiting, and intense stomach discomfort.
Omotola shared that the ordeal began while she was busy with film projects and attending the Academy Voting Members’ screening of Gladiator II. Despite her excitement for the event, her symptoms worsened, forcing her to leave early. After multiple hospital visits, she was rushed in for surgery to remove her gallbladder.
Reflecting on the experience, Omotola described her recovery as a “fight for her life” and urged her followers to join her in thanking God for her survival and health. She highlighted the importance of gratitude and resilience in the face of life’s challenges.
