Opposition parties instigating mass protests to undermine Tinubu’s government – APC

The opposition parties, according to the All Progressives Congress (APC), have turned to inciting gullible youths to participate in protests after Monday’s protests over the country’s suffering shook Kano State and Minna, the capital of Niger State.

The party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, insisted in a statement released on Tuesday that Monday’s protests in Minna and Kano were an expression of the scheme.

He claimed that the portrayal of the ruling party as ineffective was a result of desperation.

In certain major cities, opposition parties have provoked young people to protest in the streets, a crazed attempt to paint the administration led by the All Progressives Congress (APC) as underperforming.

“This cunning and unpatriotic scheme found expression in the protests that took place in Minna and Kano on Monday. It is not by accident that the protests took place at the same time in both locations.

It has the audacious hallmark of a well-thought-out plot to sow discord and topple the government. The national security and public peace are clearly and seriously threatened by this mercenary opposition strategy, the speaker declared.

While acknowledging that the ruling party supports citizens’ rights to peaceful protest, Morka urged the populace to exercise caution and resist giving in to the opposition’s divisive rhetoric and devious schemes.

He stated that the administration of President Bola Tinubu was resolutely dedicated to doing everything within its power to lessen the temporary discomfort of significant reforms that are essential to the nation’s economic recovery and long-term prosperity for all Nigerians.

According to the spokesperson, it is our collective duty as law-abiding people to support the government in this admirable endeavor.

He emphasized that these policy changes will eventually result in a lasting improvement to the nation’s material living standards.

He pleaded for Nigerians to reject attempts by opposition groups to topple the government in order to further their own political agendas.
