Nigerian musician Esegine Orezi Allen, known as Orezi, boldly stated that Afrobeats music lacks substance without his presence. The 37-year-old artist made this declaration during an interactive session with Gehn Gehn TV.
Orezi, who has been absent from the music scene for some time, emphasized his uniqueness in the entertainment industry, noting that he doesn’t conform to the usual norms. He confidently expressed his intention to make a triumphant return and take over the Nigerian music scene once again. Comparing himself to a lion, the “Shoki” singer assured that his upcoming single would become a massive hit.
“Afrobeats without me are not worth listening to. A lion cannot miss the hunt. On my shoulders, I would carry afrobeats to the next level and I will dominate.The difference between me and other artistes is that I am different. I don’t follow rules. Rules are for regular artistes. I am Orezi,” he proudly declared.
