Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen is reportedly attracting interest from several clubs, with an unexpected Premier league contender entering the race.
Newcastle United are the latest club rumoured to be eyeing the Nigerian forward, who is currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli.

The Nigerian forward was strongly linked with Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, and Saudi Arabian clubs during the summer transfer window, but despite a flurry of last minute negotiations, a deal didn’t materialize.

According to a report from the Chronicle, Newcastle are now keen on signing the 25-year-old in what could be a club-record transfer.
The report also mentions that Osimhen’s representatives see Newcastle, who initially scouted him in 2019, as a legitimate option for the player’s next move.

Despite the Magpies’ interest, Chelsea remainson the hunt for the striker, even with Nicholas Jackson performing well.

Galatasaray are also hoping to secure Osimhen on a permanent deal after his impressive start in Turkey, but they may find it challenging to keep hold of him. Osimhen has netted 8 goals in 9 matches for Galatasaray so far this season.
