Victor Osimhen’s potential transfer could be at risk due to a clause in his contract with Napoli.
Following his loan spell at Galatasaray, Osimhen is set to return to Napoli. However, a key contractual clause could complicate any potential move away from the club.

Foreign clubs have the option to activate his €75 million release clause, but Italian sides, including Juventus, must negotiate directly with Napoli. This requirement could hinder a possible transfer to Turin.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Osimhen’s release clause applies only to clubs outside Italy. This means that if Juventus or any other Serie A team wants to sign him, they must enter direct negotiations with Napoli and agree on a separate fee.

Osimhen has been in sensational form at Galatasaray, netting 26 goals in 30 appearances. Given his prolific performances, Napoli is unlikely to accept anything less than his €75 million valuation.
The club is also determined to avoid strengthening a direct competitor, especially as Juventus is already preparing for an ambitious summer rebuild.

Despite these hurdles, reports indicate that the Nigerian forward is open to a move to Juventus. A transfer would see him reunite with Cristiano Giuntoli, the sporting director who first brought him to Napoli in 2020.
However, Juventus may struggle to meet Napoli’s likely higher asking price, as the club is expected to demand more than the €75 million set for foreign buyers.

Meanwhile, Osimhen has also attracted interest from Barcelona, Arsenal, and Manchester United. These clubs would have the advantage of triggering his release clause without needing negotiations.

Galatasaray’s vice president, Abdullah Kavukcu, recently confirmed that Osimhen will reveal his decision next month.
Whether he remains in Serie A or moves abroad, Osimhen’s next destination is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated transfers of the summer.
