Pastor Adeboye Calls for Prayers Against Sabotage of Dangote Refinery

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of RCCG, has stated that God inspired Aliko Dangote to build the Dangote Refinery in Nigeria to ease the country’s reliance on fuel imports. However, he expressed concern over a reported conspiracy by oil marketers and international oil companies aiming to hinder the refinery’s operations.

During the Abuja Special Holy Ghost service, Adeboye urged Nigerians to pray against actions by those allegedly working to maintain fuel import dependence, despite Nigeria’s own crude production. He highlighted Dangote’s intent to reduce citizens’ hardships by refining locally but noted challenges from those benefiting from imports.

This comes as Nigerians continue to face high fuel prices despite a recent agreement between the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association and Dangote Refinery.
