The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has addressed a widely circulated AI-generated image portraying him in Islamic attire. The image, which surfaced in December 2024, depicted the revered pastor dressed as an alhaji, standing in front of the Kaabah in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
During the first Holy Ghost Night of the year on January 4, Adeboye acknowledged the viral image, saying, “I’m sure many of you saw that picture showing me as an alhaji.” He used the moment to shift focus to global issues, urging prayers for peace amid rising international tensions, warning against the possibility of another world war.
In his prophetic message, titled “The Glory Ahead,” Adeboye emphasized that 2025 would bring unique challenges, including an unprecedented earthquake. Despite these concerns, he assured believers of a brighter future, reaffirming that God’s purpose on earth remains essential and urging everyone to focus on fulfilling His divine mission.
