Pastor Adeboye Shares Story of God’s Response to Billionaires’ Tithe Inquiry

During a church service, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), recounted a remarkable incident where God responded to the demands for transparency from some billionaires regarding their tithes.

Adeboye revealed that billionaires from one RCCG branch had requested accountability for their tithes, prompting him to agree to provide details of the tithe expenditure. However, he decided that the information would be available for viewing at the church, rather than being directly handed over.

Subsequently, the branch experienced a downturn, with members facing business setbacks and canceled contracts. Adeboye shared that he had separated the tithes from this family and observed the consequences.

He emphasized that it wasn’t everyone who had offended him but rather a handful who challenged God’s wisdom. Eventually, those involved in the demand for transparency left the church, facing repercussions for their actions.

The story serves as a testament to God’s sovereignty and the importance of humility and trust in divine providence.
