A Nigerian evangelist, Gospel Agochukwu, has made a claim that artist Davido and his wife, Chioma, have recently become parents to a set of twins.
The man of God revealed this news on his official Facebook page on Tuesday morning. He shared a screenshot of a WhatsApp conversation he had with Davido on his church’s official Facebook page.
According to the chat, Davido informed the clergyman that his prophecy from the previous year had come true.
Agochukwu explained that back in November of the previous year, 2022, after the couple experienced the loss of their son, God had assured him that Davido and Chioma would eventually have twins.
Davido added more fuel to the rumors when he hinted at the possibility of his wife becoming the “Maba Ibeji” (mother of twins) in one of his songs from his album, Timeless.
In the song titled ‘In The Garden,’ featuring Morravey, Davido included the lyrics, “Abi mo meji, mama Ibeji.”
If this hint turns out to be true, the arrival of twins would bring joy to the couple, especially after they experienced the heartbreaking loss of their first child, a baby boy, at the age of 3.
Although Davido and Chioma have not made any official announcements, social media has been flooded with congratulations as fans and well-wishers express their happiness.
