Peter Obi Donates N20 Million to Faith Foundation Mission Hospital, Nsukka

In a commitment to investing in crucial areas of national development, the former governor of Anambra State announced on Monday, November 13, a substantial donation of N20 million to the Faith Foundation Mission Hospital in Nsukka, Enugu State.

Taking to his social media handle, the former governor expressed his dedication to supporting critical sectors such as health, education, and poverty eradication. The funds, according to him, mark the beginning of his support to the hospital through the Anglican Bishop of Nsukka, Rt Rev. Aloysius Agbo. The donation aims to aid the commencement of the construction of a College of Nursing Sciences.

The former governor emphasized the pivotal role of healthcare workers in primary healthcare delivery, emphasizing the need to prioritize the training of healthcare professionals, especially during a time when there is a shortage of such crucial personnel globally.

He extended gratitude to the Bishop and the entire team at Faith Foundation Hospital for their initiative in establishing a College of Nursing Sciences. The former governor pledged to continue supporting projects that contribute to national development, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives in building the envisioned New Nigeria.
