Plateau State police nabbed a graduate in possession of four locally made guns and ammunition.
Mr Bartholomew Onyeka, the Commissioner of Police (CP), disclosed this while parading the suspect and others on Wednesday in Jos.
According to Onyeka, after capturing the suspect, the police launched an investigation, and four locally made guns were found from his home.
He went on to say that the command had also apprehended other people in connection with kidnapping, banditry, armed robbery, and cult operations, among other offences.
The suspect, on the other hand, stated, “I’m a hunter and I give people herbal medicine.”
“Because I frequent the bush, I made the guns for hunting and self-defense.”
