Police in Ogun arrest seven suspected ritualists with human parts

On Thursday, a seven-member gang that specialized in exchanging body parts for rituals was apprehended by the Ogun Police Command.

Abiodun Olamutu, the Commissioner of Police, stated that among the exhibits taken from the accused were two kegs containing human corpses and a human heart.
Moses Abidemi, Oluwo Monday, Jamiu Yusuf, Sheriff Agbai, Prophet Peter Akiwunmi Ifatosin, and Osojieahen Alioneitoura were among the individuals taken into custody, according to Alamutu.
Alamutu stated that on January 9, the Divisional Police Office in Onipanu got a report regarding the disappearance of Ms. Sulaimon Adijat. Adebayo Azeez had extended an invitation for her to go on a date.
“The cell phone has been turned off since the day she was reported missing, despite desperate attempts to find her whereabouts.

“As a result, a technical-based investigation was started, and the Anti-Kidnapping Unit of the command was drafted to unravel the mystery behind her disappearance,” the CP stated.

He claimed that the inquiry showed the accused were engaged in a money-making rite called “Oshole,” which required them to create N200 million in seven days.

Oluwo Monday demanded N800,000 from Agbai and Alioneitouria to get the supplies ready for the ritual money.

“Oluwo Monday thereafter contacted one Peter, who was experienced in the human parts trade, to source for a lady between the ages of 18 and 20 years old, in furtherance of his illegal aim.

According to the CP, Peter was supposed to deliver the woman’s disfigured body parts—the head, two breasts, virginal, and two wrists—which would be utilized in the ceremony. On the other hand, on January 10, Sheriff and Osojieahen left Oluwo with the ritual money and returned to Edo State. The problem arose when Osojieahen followed Oluwo’s instructions to employ the ceremonial ingredient and angrily protested that it did not produce the anticipated 200 million in seven days.

“On February 3 and 10, a search was carried out in the Moses Shrine; during that search, female handbags and two cement sacks containing human bones were found.”

According to the CP, every suspect has admitted to the purported crime and their respective roles.

In order to apprehend other fugitive individuals, he said, an investigation was still underway.
