Mustafa Adewale, 22, has allegedly been detained by Osun State police after being accused of raping a 3-year-old child.
According to the command, the baby’s mother called the police to report the occurrence.
The event took place at Garage Olode in Osun State’s Ife South LGA, according to the state police public relations officer, Yemisi Opalola.
According to her, the baby’s mother placed her young daughter in the care of her neighbor, Mustafa Adewale, at around 11:40 a.m.
‘’The suspect, who confessed to the crime, blames devil for his action. He said he bought biscuits for the baby and then raped her after she ate the biscuit.’’
The PPRO said the little girl is responding to treatment at a hospital, where the police took her to for medical examination and treatment.
She said the suspect had been arrested and would be charged to court after investigation.
