Nigerian singer, rapper, and songwriter Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has hit back at Nollywood actress Laide Bakare in response to her calling him a “dirty boy from Sango.” The exchange ensued after Bakare made derogatory comments about Portable in an interview, citing vulgar statements he made on her social media page.

In the interview, Bakare discussed personal topics, including the controversy surrounding claims to her child’s paternity. When addressing Portable’s comment on her post about being a “rich woman,” Bakare insulted him, referring to him as “a dirty mad boy from Sango.”
In retaliation, he responded in a video, asserting his financial prowess by stating he could buy and marry Bakare. He also referenced Bakare’s earlier admission that she would cheat if her husband did, expressing concern about her influence on his wife, who is also in the entertainment industry.
In the video, he declared, “You called me a dirty boy, but I can buy you. Who is your husband? Tell me your husband.”

The exchange between Portable and Bakare showcases the volatile nature of online interactions, especially when involving public figures. It highlights the challenges of navigating personal matters in the public eye and the potential for heated confrontations in the age of social media.
