Popular singer Portable has been sent to Oke Kura Prison in Ilorin after failing to meet the bail conditions set by the court. Although the court granted him bail on Monday, he could not provide the two sureties required, including one from the music association PMAN and another with property papers in a GRA area.
The singer was arrested on Sunday by the police in Ogun State and taken to Kwara for questioning. His arrest followed a petition by fellow artist, Saheed Osupa, who accused him of defamation, threats, and using insulting words.

Portable’s lawyer, Isaac Adebayo, confirmed that they are still working on meeting the strict bail conditions. Until then, the “Zazoo Zeh” crooner will remain in custody at the correctional centre.
