Nigerian street-hop artist Portable has taken aim at veteran Fuji musician Saheed Osupa for having his song removed from streaming platforms over alleged copyright infringement. In a heated Instagram video on Wednesday, Portable criticized Osupa for reporting his track, leading to its removal from Spotify and Apple Music.
The dispute began after Portable used a line from Osupa’s song, sparking complaints from the Fuji icon and his team. Expressing his frustration, Portable labeled Osupa “big for nothing”, accusing him of failing to support younger artists. He contrasted Osupa’s stance with Pasuma, another Fuji legend, who he claimed had been more accommodating.

“If you can’t embrace me, I will drag you,” Portable declared, insisting that he had used lyrics from both Osupa and Pasuma but only Osupa took action against him. The singer urged Osupa to either show support or “keep his distance”, emphasizing that he remains undeterred by the controversy.
