A rising music artist named Wiznurudeen, who was recently signed by controversial singer Portable, has gone viral online after posting a tearful video. In the emotional clip, he pleaded with Fuji legend Saheed Osupa to forgive Portable and drop the charges against him.
This came shortly after Portable was arrested by the Kwara State Police on April 13, 2025, following a petition from Saheed Osupa. The police accused Portable of serious offences including defamation, threats, incitement, and use of abusive language. The arrest was made in Abeokuta and he was immediately taken to Ilorin for questioning.
In the video, Wiznurudeen, clearly distressed, begged Saheed Osupa to show mercy. He asked the Fuji icon to release his boss, saying the situation was painful and heartbreaking for them all. Police say investigations into the matter are still ongoing.
