Pressure Mounts on Jonathan to Run for President in 2027

The call comes from those dissatisfied with current President Bola Tinubu’s policies, which they believe have led to widespread hardship in Nigeria. JonaHe than is seen as an ideal candidate because he would only serve a single four-year term, making him a transitional leader before the North could regain power in 2031.
