Protesters has blocked the flow of free movement at the Suleja axis of the Abuja-Kaduna highway in Niger state.
According to our source, hundreds of travellers are currently stranded due to a section of the road being blocked by the protesters.
Abubakar Ibrahim who is identified as a resident of Abuja. In an interview with Daily Trust, lamented over his inability travel to his home state of Kaduna.
According to Ibrahim, the vehicle he boarded around 11:40 am on Thursday, had spent over two hours around Gauraka junction.
Ibrahim said the gridlock had extended to some kilometeres, covering between Aluminum Village and nearby Zuma military barracks.
There are few policemen standing from afar, but they are unable to do anything about the road block as the number of the youths is beyond their control.”
