Real Madrid’s team bus was involved in an accident on the M40 motorway in England following their 2-0 defeat to Liverpool on Wednesday, November 27. The bus, which was transporting the team’s kit, was reportedly struck by a lorry. Fortunately, no players or staff were on board during the incident.
The luxury bus, unveiled in October 2024 as part of the Bernabeu’s extensive £1.5 billion renovation, was on its way back to Madrid. This is not the first accident involving the team bus, as a similar collision occurred earlier this year during a Champions League trip to RB Leipzig.
Reflecting on the match, Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti praised the team’s defensive structure in the first half but noted key errors in attack. Despite the loss, star player Jude Bellingham expressed confidence in Kylian Mbappe, whose missed penalty has drawn attention, stating that Mbappe remains a vital asset to the team.
