Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Ruth Kadiri, recently shared her distressing experience of being defrauded of N230k. She disclosed this on her Instagram page, explaining that she had engaged in a business transaction with a body shaper and waist trainer brand. However, despite her best efforts, the ordered items were never delivered.
Amidst the challenging economic conditions, Ruth Kadiri called upon the business involved to take action by either refunding her money or fulfilling the delivery of the products. She expressed her frustration over the lack of response to her messages and the growing difficulty in placing trust in such situations.
Sharing receipts of their transaction, Ruth Kadiri wrote:
“Pls help me beg them to deliver my product or refund me o! Economy is hard o! Jesu!
No responding to my messages anymore!!!! Trust is hard these days o”.
Her colleague, Uche Elendu, also voiced her grievances in the comment section, recounting her own experience with the same company. She had to exert pressure before finally securing a refund for her client who had been similarly victimized. Uche Elendu advised Ruth to prioritize reclaiming her money.
