The Nigerian Senate has confirmed Omolola Oloworaran as the new Director-General of the National Pension Commission (PENCOM). The confirmation followed a request from President Bola Tinubu and was supported by the Senate Committee on Establishment and Public Service, led by Senator Cyril Fasuyi. During the plenary, Fasuyi presented the committee’s report, affirming that Oloworaran met all legal requirements under the Pension Reform Act 2014.
Senators approved the recommendation through a voice vote, expressing confidence in Oloworaran’s ability to lead PENCOM effectively.
