Seun Jimoh : Take It Easy On Nigerians In Diaspora

Popular actor Seun Jimoh has urged Nigerians not to put undue pressure on their friends and relatives living overseas, especially considering the recent drop in the value of the naira against the US dollar. The actor emphasized that inflation is a global phenomenon affecting every nation, leading to a moderate to severe recession worldwide.

In a post on social media, Seun Jimoh pleaded with Nigerians to be considerate and kind to their friends and family, acknowledging that even though the exchange rate has reached N1700/$, individuals living abroad still have to work hard for every dollar they earn. He cautioned against calculating the value of the dollar in relation to those who may want to provide financial assistance.

His post reads: “PLEASE TAKE IT EASY ON YOUR RICH FRIENDS AND FAMILY AND THE ONES IN DIASPORA. EVEN THOUGH DOLLAR IS 1 TO 1700 NOW, THEY STILL HAVE TO WORK THEIR ASSES OFF FOR EVERY DOLLAR. NO DEY TAKE BRAIN CALCULATE HOW MUCH DOLLAR BE FOR WHO WAN GIVE YOU O! PERSON WEY YOU DEY LOOK UP TO SEF GET WHO HE DEY LOOK UP TO.”

Seun Jimoh’s message resonates with the economic challenges faced by Nigerians and highlights the need for empathy and understanding, particularly during times of global economic uncertainty. His words serve as a reminder to consider the broader context when discussing financial matters and to be mindful of the efforts put in by individuals, irrespective of their location.
