Manchester United defender Luke Shaw chose a rival player over his own teammates in a quick question-and-answer session.
While with the England Squad for the European Championship, Shaw also took time engaging in other activities besides training and match preparation.

When asked to name the best player in the Premier League, Luke chose Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard, placing him above his own teammate Bruno Fernandes and Manchester City’s stars Phil Foden, Kevin De Bruyne, and Erling Haaland.

He also mentioned Sir Alex Ferguson as the Premier League‘s greatest-ever manager, pointing out the Scotsman’s impressive record of 13 Premier League titles before retiring.

Despite an injury-plagued season, Shaw secured a spot in Gareth Southgate’s England squad for Euro 2024. He may also play a role as the Three Lions look to advance from Group C, which includes Denmark, Serbia, and Slovenia.
