Skibii Opens Up About His Health Condition and Starting His Career with False News of His Death

Renowned Nigerian singer, Skibii, has shared the story of how he began his career with the false news of his death being pronounced.

It can be recalled that in August 2015, reports emerged claiming that Skibii had collapsed and passed away.

In a recent interview that went viral online, the singer revealed that he was battling a condition that caused him to frequently lose consciousness at the time.

Skibii not only survived the ordeal but also managed to overcome the criticism he faced, including a subtle jab from singer Falz in one of his songs, as well as tributes from notable artists like Davido and Wizkid.

Skibii revealed that at the beginning of his career, there were rumors of his death, and that he had faked his death. He explained that he experienced blackouts on two occasions, once while on a plane to South Africa and another time at a friend’s house, Kaycee. The news of his collapses spread. Skibii had to seek medical treatment in America, and as a result, he now has dietary restrictions, including avoiding pineapple and lime.

Skiibii shared the challenges he faced during that period, emphasizing the difficulty of dealing with the situation. As a budding musician, the rumors had the potential to derail his career before it took off. However, he refused to let the rumors define him. Instead, he used the experience as fuel to work even harder and prove his worth in the industry. With determination and dedication, he poured his heart and soul into his music, ultimately reaping the rewards of his perseverance.
