Former Jigawa State Governor, Sule Lamido, has stated that no member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) can prevent former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, from rejoining the party. During an appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Lamido emphasized that political figures like Atiku Abubakar and Nyesom Wike cannot claim ownership of the PDP.
Lamido highlighted the need for PDP to reconcile with disgruntled members and present a unified front to challenge the ruling APC. He stressed that the PDP belongs to the Nigerian people, rejecting the notion of any individual monopolizing the party. While acknowledging Atiku’s ambitions, Lamido emphasized the importance of strengthening the PDP to confront the challenges posed by the ruling party. He emphasized the need for a robust platform to counter the APC’s capacity for mischief.
