Chelsea defender Tosin Adarabioyo is reportedly set to commit his international future to Nigeria’s Super Eagles.
Though not yet confirmed by the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), the news was suggested by Team Nigeria UK in a social media post following an interview with TVC News.
Born in London with Nigerian heritage, Adarabioyo appears to have chosen to represent Nigeria at the international level, following in the footsteps of fellow Anglo-Nigerian players like Alex Iwobi and Ademola Lookman.
The defender, who has often expressed his admiration for the Super Eagles, could be the latest former Manchester City player to switch allegiance to Nigeria, joining players like Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, who recently made his debut.
Adarabioyo’s recent move to Chelsea and his Premier League experience are seen as significant assets for Nigeria’s defence, with fans already excited about his potential inclusion to the team.
