Popular Nollywood actor Sylvester Madu, also known as Shina Rambo, has come out to clear the air about a video that went viral in 2023. In the video, he was seen selling clothes on the floor of a market in Enugu, which made many people believe he had turned to selling second-hand clothes, popularly called okrika.
But in a recent interview, Sylvester explained that the clothes were not okrika just because they were on the ground. He said he brings in brand-new clothes from the United States and runs a clothing business with several shops. According to him, he only joined his workers in the market that day because he likes to be hands-on.
The actor also shared that he has been in the clothing business for over 30 years. “I don’t do big man. I go to the market myself. I have many boys selling for me in different shops. I import from the U.S. and monitor my business well,” he said.
