According to the BBC, police in Thailand have accused a father of killing his two-year-old daughter and his two infant kids by beating them to death.
The authorities believe Songsak Songsaeng also murdered his two other young sons from an earlier union.
The accusations come in response to the discovery last week of a two-year-old girl’s remains buried beneath a kitchen floor.
According to the police, Songsak alleges to have a history of mental illness and that he killed his kids because he couldn’t stand hearing them scream.
In connection with the passing of their two-year-old daughter, his wife has also been accused. Additionally, his ex-wife has been accused of killing the two boys. They’ve all been taken into custody. Songsak has had four marriages.
This month’s first report of domestic abuse to the police came from Bangkok’s Bang Khen neighborhood.
The two daughters of Songsak, who are 12 and 4, were allegedly being physically assaulted, according to his neighbors. While the two daughters were at home alone without their parents, police saved them.
The 12-year-old admitted to authorities that their parents had killed her sister when she was two years old by beating the child. She also assisted authorities in locating the body after it was discovered last week buried beneath a kitchen floor in northwest Thailand.
Songsak has also been accused by Thai police of murdering two more sons he shared with his third wife after his DNA was found.
His third wife had accused him of killing their four young sons and revealed the whereabouts of two of the bodies to the authorities.
Police suspect the two other victims may have been buried beneath the area where a gas station is currently located.
