Tinubu Attends Democracy Day Parade at Eagle Square

President Bola Tinubu, accompanied by his wife Remi Tinubu, arrived at Eagle Square for the Democracy Day celebration parade. The event commenced with the national anthem and was attended by notable figures including Chief of Defence Staff General Christopher Musa, Vice President Kashim Shettima, and Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

During his Democracy Day address, President Tinubu assured Nigerians that ongoing national reforms aim to stabilize and strengthen the economy, despite current hardships. He emphasized the necessity of these reforms for long-term economic growth and resilience.

President Tinubu acknowledged the economic difficulties faced by the nation and reaffirmed his commitment to listening to the people’s needs. He stressed that the economy’s over-reliance on oil revenue required rectification to ensure fair economic opportunities and compensation for all citizens.
