Tinubu Hosts 65th ECOWAS Heads of State Session

President Bola Tinubu is hosting the 65th Ordinary Session of the ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government in Abuja. The Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa is the venue for this high-level meeting.

The session will address financing a standby force against terrorism and preventing unconstitutional changes of government. It will also focus on reintegrating Niger, Mali, and Burkina Faso into ECOWAS following the lifting of their ban.

The meeting has drawn dignitaries, including members of the Diplomatic Corps. Special Assistant to President Tinubu, Olusegun Dada, shared footage from the ongoing session, highlighting its significance for regional stability.
