President Bola Ahmed Tinubu returned to Abuja on Tuesday night after spending the Christmas and New Year holidays in Lagos. His visit to Lagos, which began on December 18, 2024, included private festive activities and was marked by a warm reception from Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and other officials.
Before returning, Tinubu attended the inauguration of Ghana’s President, John Mahama, in Accra. During the ceremony, Tinubu reaffirmed Nigeria’s commitment to supporting Ghana’s development and enhancing cooperation between the two nations.
Tinubu’s trip followed his presentation of the ₦47.9 trillion 2025 budget to the National Assembly, underscoring his administration’s focus on governance and regional collaboration.
