The main witness for the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offenses Commission (ICPC), TKJ (not real name), testified on Tuesday that she was pressured to trade her virginity for admission to the University of Calabar (UNICAL) by Prof. Cyril Ndifon, the suspended dean of the faculty of law.
TKJ, the second prosecution witness (PW2) for the ICPC, testified before Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court in Abuja. Osuobeni Akponimisingha, the commission’s attorney, led TKJ’s evidence.

She described how, while enrolled in her Diploma 1 Program, she got in touch with Ndifon through some senior students who were expressing their condolences to the instructor at the passing of his mother.
The PW2 said that Ndifon contacted her after she got back to school to ask if she was back, to which she replied in the affirmative.
The witness went on to tell the court, though, that the troubled professor grabbed her waist as she attempted to break free from him in his office.
The witness also testified in court that, after establishing that she was on her menstrual cycle, the don invited her to visit him on a public holiday and pleaded with her to give him “a blow job.”
“He asked me to come to his office on a public holiday,” the woman stated.
He tugged at his pants. I told him to stop because I was having my menstrual period. Will I not surrender my virginity to him again, he asked?
“I mentioned having my menstruation. He reached into my pad with his hand. He asked me to sit down and inquired when my menstruation will end.
He asked me to give him a blowout and displayed his manhood. I informed him that I couldn’t. He advised me not to make fun of him.He told me to leave his office and tucked his manhood back into his pants.
“I asked him to forgive me as I turned to go.
“That particular day, I wasn’t even on my period; I was just forced to wear the pad due to his persistent advances toward me.”
The witness claimed that the suspended dean started pressing her for pictures of herself in her underwear following the incident.
She claimed that the suspended dean asked for more pictures of her in her underwear despite the university demonstrations against sexual harassment.
In addition, TKJ informed the court that he pulled up in front of her dorm in a car with tinted windows, all during the University panel investigation.
The witness claimed that after she got into the car with him and they started talking, Ndifon reached into her pants.
After she stopped him from doing that, the PW2 claimed, he pulled out his manhood and pushed it into her mouth.
After giving her evidence, the prosecution counsel sought to tender the N3000 bank receipt sent to the witness as evidence and it was admitted as exhibit after Ndifon’s lawyer, Joe Agi, SAN, withdrew his objection.
Justice Omotosho adjourned the matter until Feb. 7 for continuation.
