Manchester United are reportedly preparing for a major squad overhaul this summer as they set their sights on signing Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen.
The club is expected to part ways with several key players at the end of the season in an effort to revamp the squad under new manager Ruben Amorim.

According to the London Standard, the likes of Victor Lindelof, Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, Kobbie Mainoo, Antony, and Marcus Rashford could all be put up for sale. Amorim is keen to reshape the team and bring in fresh talent.

The planned clear-out is aimed at generating funds for new acquisitions, with Manchester United particularly interested in securing Sunderland’s Jobe Bellingham and Osimhen.
Jobe, the younger sibling of Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham, has impressed in the Championship, and his long-term contract with Sunderland, which runs until 2028, gives the club strong negotiating power.

Meanwhile, Osimhen remains one of the most in-demand strikers globally, and Amorim sees him as a transformative addition to United’s attacking lineup.
The 26-year-old Nigerian forward, currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, has been in exceptional form, netting 26 goals in 30 appearances.

Amorim’s primary objective for the upcoming season is to assemble a younger and more physically capable squad, ensuring Manchester United can compete at the highest level in the Premier League.
