During the Day 3 Service of the Week of Spiritual Emphasis in August 2023, Bishop David Oyedepo, the General Overseer of Living Faith Church Worldwide, delivered a sermon titled “Meet Jesus The Great Physician And His Great Prescriptions” (Part 3).
Highlighting the significance of the blood, Bishop Oyedepo mentioned that it remains a vital spiritual weapon in present times. He then proceeded to discuss five transformative aspects of the Passover blood in our lives:
1. By speaking, the Passover blood deters the destroyer from entering our lives and our lands.
Who or what is speaking? Passover. The blood of Abel speaks of retaliation; it also speaks of Passover. Move aside; not here. So you don’t have to struggle to win. 12:13 in Exodus.
2. All seeds of bad luck, including servitude, are destroyed.
Boom! Whatever has you in servitude and won’t let you go! “Enough. You are too heavy for me to hold. The force of the blood broke the siege of tragedy. Every type of slavery keeping someone tied will be destroyed by the secret of the blood of sprinkling.
3. It delivers from every diabolical fortress of illness and disease.
The blood of Passover delivers from all demonic fortresses of illness and disease. As we have seen, Jesus granted them the ability to cast out all demons and to heal every illness. Our power against all diabolical bastions of illness and disease is in the blood.
4. All that somebody may have lost, even obstacles with their health, is restored.
It returns with double the power. Everything that is partly functioning in your life will return with twice the power and perfection. We call upon the blood of the earth’s rider to inspire twofold restoration of any health snare. We will have a visit tonight, since the Lord lives.
5. It is God’s last option for saving the elect.
Nothing more is available from God. Christ’s Church is Mount Zion. One of the riddles that the Church has not yet solved is this one. By grace, many of us have discovered it, and we are now surrounded by its benefits. Just ask any of the fortresses that formerly stood on this territory what the blood caused to them in terms of harm, injuries, and devastation.
