Upcoming Artist Treks 29 Days to Meet Olamide in Lagos

In an extraordinary display of determination, upcoming artist Tbaddo has completed a 29-day foot trek from Delta to Lagos with the sole purpose of meeting his favorite rapper and music producer, Olamide Adedeji. The 27-year-old artist, hailing from Ughelli, embarked on the arduous journey on January 12, driven by the belief that meeting Olamide would be the key to achieving success in the entertainment industry.

Tbaddo’s motivation stems from a deep admiration for Olamide, and he is convinced that having the rapper contribute a verse to his unreleased song, ‘GuoGuo,’ will elevate his status in the music industry. According to Tbaddo, Olamide is a “spiritually bad man,” and his support is crucial for making it big in the industry.

In an emotional plea, Tbaddo shared his financial struggles during the journey, starting with only 4500 and now having only 700 left. He highlighted the challenges of surviving with low finances, relying on budgeting and energy from bottled drinks. Despite facing health issues due to a lack of adequate shelter, Tbaddo remains determined, expressing the belief that meeting Olamide is the turning point in his career.

Tbaddo passionately stated, “Olamide is the only person that can blow me up in the music industry. If Olamide jumps into your song, just forget about promotion, you did blow be that.”

The young artist now awaits Olamide’s response to his quest, firmly believing that his journey and dedication will not go unnoticed. The story of Tbaddo’s trek has captivated the attention of many, sparking discussions about the lengths aspiring artists go to pursue their dreams in the highly competitive entertainment industry.
