Victor AD Disputes BBC, Praises TB Joshua

Nigerian singer Victor AD, known for his hit song “Wetin We Gain,” has countered the BBC’s documentary accusing the late founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Temitope Balogun Joshua (TB Joshua), of performing staged miracles and mistreating members. Victor AD, via Twitter, defended TB Joshua, stating that his family has been attending SCOAN since he was six, and he personally experienced healing from a skin disease. He recounted instances where TB Joshua restored his mother’s hand, which was supposed to be amputated, and healed his sister of blindness during her primary school days. The singer expressed disbelief in the allegations and affirmed his faith in God.

The controversy surrounding TB Joshua and SCOAN has sparked a range of reactions, with some defending the late prophet’s legacy and others expressing concerns raised in the BBC documentary. The conflicting perspectives highlight the complexities of evaluating the actions of influential figures, especially in religious contexts.
