Wait Till 2031: Ganduje’s Message to Atiku and Obi

In a surprising turn of events, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, announced on Thursday that there is still room for the presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, and the Labour Party, Peter Obi, to realize their presidential aspirations after the conclusion of President Bola Tinubu’s second-term tenure in 2031.

Ganduje also expressed his support for the Supreme Court’s decision, which upheld President Tinubu’s victory in the presidential election that took place on February 25.

In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Edwin Olofu, Ganduje remarked that the Supreme Court’s judgment has effectively quashed all allegations from opposition parties that the presidential election results were manipulated in favor of President Tinubu. He stressed that the verdict paves the way for President Tinubu to focus on implementing the “Renewed Hope” mandate of the APC for the betterment of Nigeria.

Ganduje emphasized that Nigeria belongs to all citizens, and it is the responsibility of patriots to unite their resources and efforts to advance the country. He congratulated Atiku and Obi for their unwavering commitment to expanding the frontiers of democracy and the rule of law.

Ganduje acknowledged the victory of President Tinubu as a triumph for democratic governance in Nigeria. He closed his statement by calling on all Nigerians, regardless of their political affiliations, to unite and support the President in delivering more democratic dividends and steering the nation towards sustainable progress.
