Hazel Oyeze Onou, known as Whitemoney and the winner of “Shine Ya Eye” season 6 of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija), has expressed his support for Mercy Eke, a former contestant who is competing in the All-Star edition, despite her previous victory in the “Pepper Dem” season four.
Whitemoney strongly believes that Mercy should not be disqualified from the opportunity to win again just because she emerged victorious in a previous season. In an interview with media personality Hero Daniels, Whitemoney passionately defended Mercy’s position as a deserving contender for the All-Star edition’s winner title.
He drew a comparison from the world of sports. Whitemoney argued that Mercy’s pursuit of a second victory is not only valid but would also elevate her profile, reputation, and the brand she is working to establish.
In Whitemoney’s own words:
“If you play a championship cup and win, you’d go home the next season and say don’t wanna play again? No! You have to keep winning.
“Mercy does deserve to win. If she wins it, that’s good for her profile. It’s good for her prestige. It’s good for whatever she is trying to build. So, if she wins it again that would be very nice. No cap”
