“Why Nigeria Invited to G20 Summit: Biden”

The Findwhosabi also reports that Tinubu held bilateral meetings with the leaders of Germany, South Korea, and India.

During his meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Tinubu emphasized the need to go beyond creating a financial framework and focus on building a broader economic alliance. He mentioned that the Nigerian government is introducing new incentives to attract large-scale manufacturers, such as Volkswagen, to establish a presence in the country to boost economic growth.

In response, Chancellor Scholz acknowledged the mutually beneficial nature of expanding economic ties with Nigeria. He appreciated the business-friendly reforms implemented by Nigeria and expressed his desire to visit the country in October to further advance these initiatives.

Additionally, after departing from New Delhi, India, President Tinubu is scheduled to have a meeting with the leadership of the United Arab Emirates during a technical stopover in Abu Dhabi, the Emirati capital.

These meetings and discussions reflect Nigeria’s efforts to strengthen economic partnerships and attract foreign investments to drive economic growth and development.
