Cristel Nchama, one of the women featured in viral sex tapes involving former Equatorial Guinea official Baltasar Ebang Engonga, has filed a formal complaint with the National Gendarmerie of Malabo. The scandal surfaced after authorities, investigating Engonga on fraud allegations, discovered around 400 explicit videos allegedly involving him with various women, including high-profile figures.
The videos, reportedly filmed with participants’ consent, have sparked outrage and led to Engonga’s dismissal. Nchama, who claimed a four-year relationship with Engonga, expressed deep humiliation and demanded an investigation and compensation, questioning why the videos were kept and leaked.
The government responded by suspending officials implicated in the scandal, signaling a commitment to address misconduct within public offices.
